We are currently hiring a Sr. Business Partner, Sales and Service to join our Enterprise Applications team.  This senior-level role will be responsible for managing technology licenses, leading strategic discussions with business units, and overseeing project needs related to our Sales and Service applications. The ideal candidate will possess a robust skill set in requirement gathering, strategic planning, thought leadership, and will be able to operate autonomously.

Where is the work:

This is a Remote position.

 

What you will do:

Business Engagement:

    • Act as the primary liaison between IT and business units to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements
    • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and document business processes
    • Provide guidance and thought leadership to business units on leveraging Salesforce to achieve business objectives

Program Management:

o    Lead and manage Salesforce-related projects from inception to completion

    • Work with Development teams to deliver project cost and resource estimates to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and business stakeholders

Strategic Planning:

    • Provide inputs for roadmap for Salesforce initiatives aligned with business goals
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within Salesforce
    • Stay current with Salesforce updates, best practices, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement

Technology License Management:

    • Oversee the procurement, renewal, and management of Salesforce licenses
    • Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and optimize license usage
    • Collaborate with vendors and negotiate contracts to achieve cost-effective solutions

Thought Leadership:

    • Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce and related technologies
    • Conduct demos and participate in workshops to educate business users on Salesforce capabilities
    • Advocate for innovative solutions and drive adoption of new features and functionalities

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing organization, with a focus on Salesforce
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform and its various modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.). Certifications are desirable
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Leadership and team management capabilities
  • Travel up to 10% in the future may be required

 

Compensation: 

Base Salary: $94,000 - $125,000
