The Operational Excellence Lead for ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) is essential in supporting Lean transformation by ensuring Lean principles, training, practices, and tools are incorporated into our Integrated Supply Chain and Quality strategies. This role is central to aligning lean initiatives with core supply chain and quality teams to elevate operational efficiency and align with strategic business outcomes. This role will support BOS management and governance, ensuring that best practices and standard work are developed, executed, and visible across the organization. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure that all lean training activities are systematically governed and updated, reflecting the latest industry standards and technological advancements. Through robust lean events, this role will enhance the visibility and consistency of standard work practices, supporting our commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement. Where is the work:
Due to the nature of this role, this position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule, with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
- Provide broader OpEx support to the Corporate Supply Chain Teams, focusing on the growth of operational excellence, lean principles, and training capabilities.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct Value Stream Analysis events to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of current operations and create a vision for a new future state.
- Lead the cross functional planning and execution of Rapid Improvement Events or Just Do It tasks to eliminate waste from processes.
- Support adherence to standard work by ensuring high levels of engagement and collaboration during pre-work, event week and post-event weeks.
- Train/coach ISC employees via Gemba walks on problem solving behaviors and basic Lean methodologies including flow, zero defects, standardized work and visual management that addresses all critical aspects of supply chain management, encompassing people, processes, and technology.
- Partner with the Global Operational Excellence team to develop and standardize Lean training materials and methodologies, incorporating Shingo principles, to be used organization wide.
- Implement rigorous governance standards for BOS management. Establishing a continuous review process with SMEs to keep standard work content current with the latest process improvements.
- Review existing and new procedures/controls to identify obstacles, create plans and organize teams to change.
- Assist in streamlining, developing, updating, and maintaining quality BOS standard work documentation and training materials for consistent implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the SBUs
- Lead the development of frameworks and tools for problem-solving and waste reduction, including the expansion of Daily Management Execution
- Monitor and report on Daily Management Excellence key metrics such as capable and repeatable std work adherence rates, using tools such as MDI (Managing for Daily Improvement) reporting and direct feedback mechanisms.
- Develop and deploy tools for Goal Deployment and Mission Control, including standards for A3 coaching.
- Inclusion in cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of business-critical projects.
- Support the successful coordination of quality programs and initiatives among global Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System
- Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders, regularly creating and distributing reports to leadership that highlight LEAN successes, identify areas for improvement, and pinpoint opportunities for LEAN refreshment or escalation.

Required:
- Associates or Bachelor of Science degree or related discipline preferred (Equivalent education / training / or experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree).
- 5+ years of experience in a LEAN environment (Lean methodology certifications preferred)
- Experience in quality management, with emphasis on quality management systems and quality applications
- Demonstrated ability in lean thinking and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong coaching experience.
- Ability to work effectively at Strategic Business Unit or Strategic Business -facing level, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in facilitating successful Rapid Improvement events using a defined process, with proven capability to deliver significant improvement in operational and financial metrics.
- Experience in driving strategic planning and maintaining project governance.
- Knowledge of the Shingo model preferred.
- Ability to travel 20%.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
