Sustainability Intern
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
CEES Operations: The CEES team needs support in overall operations, which may include: reporting development of CDP, DJBIC, etc. responses, awards and events, stakeholder resources including our CEES Sharepoint and Sustainability Goal Guides and playbooks, and standard work development.
Emerging Issues Research: The sustainability intern would meet with internal subject matter experts to help form initial strategy on complex topics through conducting research and benchmarking against other best in class companies.
GHG Emission Inventory Updates: The sustainability intern would work with relevant internal stakeholders and data sets to perform analysis on emission sources throughout the value chain and identify decarbonization opportunities.
Qualifications:
Students pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate Level in Sustainable Management, Environment Science, Environmental Economics, Environmental Law or Engineering (with concentration or experience in sustainable energy or business).
Prior work experience or specialized studies in corporate sustainability, emissions accounting, renewable energy, circular design, or similar areas preferred.
Passion for environmental sustainability and driving social impact
Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills, and experience in project management
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.00
