Job Summary:
The Region Talent and Organization Capability Leader serves as a strategic business partner and talent architect, driving organizational excellence across their designated region or corporate functions. This role is instrumental in building world-class talent strategies, developing organizational capabilities, and fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with Trane Technologies' global objectives while addressing regional market dynamics and business needs.
The EMEA Talent & Organization Capability Leader will be a key member of the EMEA Human Resources Leadership Team (HRLT) and will collaborate closely with the enterprise COE, with a dotted line to VP, T&OC to create consistent solutions and true global working team. The role will lead a network of HR partners who create an extended execution arm for T&OC within the region.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Talent Leadership
· Develop and execute comprehensive talent strategies that support regional/functional business objectives and align with enterprise talent initiatives.
· Partner with regional/functional leadership teams to identify critical talent needs, succession planning requirements, and organizational capability gaps.
· Design and implement retention strategies for high-potential employees and critical talent populations within the region.
· Create strategic workforce planning frameworks that anticipate future talent needs and capability requirements specific to the region.
· Lead the early talent program (Accelerate Development Program) for the region.
Organization Capability Development & Change Strategy
· Assess current organizational capabilities and design targeted development programs to bridge skill gaps and future-proof the workforce within the region/function.
· Lead regional/functional change management initiatives that support digital transformation, business evolution, and organizational redesign.
· Create and deploy innovative learning and development initiatives that enhance technical competencies, leadership capabilities, and digital fluency across the region.
· Establish centers of excellence and knowledge-sharing platforms to accelerate capability building and drive continuous learning culture within the region.
· Design and implement change strategies that ensure seamless adoption of new technologies, processes, and business models across regional teams.
· Build organizational resilience and adaptability to navigate market disruptions and business transformations specific to the region.
Performance and Culture Management
· Implement performance management systems that drive accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement.
· Foster an inclusive, innovative culture that reflects Trane Technologies' values and promotes employee engagement and psychological safety.
· Develop metrics and analytics to measure talent effectiveness, organizational health, and culture indicators.
· Partner with diversity, equity, and inclusion teams to advance DEI objectives and create belonging for all employees.
· Drive culture transformation initiatives that support business strategy and enhance organizational effectiveness.
· Create feedback-rich environments that promote continuous learning and performance excellence.
Leadership Development, Career Experiences & Growth
· Design and execute comprehensive leadership development programs for emerging and established leaders across all career stages within the region.
· Create robust succession planning processes for critical roles and key leadership positions with emphasis on internal mobility within the region.
· Facilitate leadership assessments, coaching programs, and targeted career development pathways for regional talent.
· Build internal leadership bench strength through stretch assignments, cross-functional projects, and development experiences.
· Develop career lattices and growth frameworks that provide clear pathways for advancement and skill development within the region.
· Create mentoring and sponsorship programs that accelerate career progression and knowledge transfer across regional teams.
· Design experiential learning opportunities including rotational assignments, special projects, and leadership challenges specific to the region.
Strategic Business Partnership
· Serve as a trusted advisor to regional/functional general managers and leaders on talent and organizational matters.
· Participate in regional strategic planning processes to ensure talent considerations are integrated into business decisions.
· Collaborate with global HR teams to leverage best practices while maintaining focus on regional needs.
· Support regional business integration activities and organizational changes from a talent perspective.
Key Competencies:
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
· 7+ years of progressive human resources experience with emphasis on talent management and organizational development.
· Proven track record in industrial, manufacturing, or technology environments preferred.
Core Competencies
· Expertise in organizational development, change management, and capability building strategies
· Strong understanding of talent management principles, performance management, and leadership development
· Experience with HR analytics, workforce planning, and talent metrics
· Demonstrated ability to operate in matrix organizations and influence without direct authority
· Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale change initiatives and culture transformation programs
Leadership Capabilities
· Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen with ability to translate business needs into talent solutions
· Outstanding communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior leadership.
· Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams across diverse cultural and geographic contexts
· Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
· Cultural sensitivity and global mindset with ability to adapt strategies to local market conditions
Preferred Qualifications
· Advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or related field
· Professional certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent)
· Experience in climate technology, HVAC, or related industrial sectors
· Fluency in English language, other languages are a plus
· Experience with digital HR technologies and platforms
Travel Requirements
· Travel up to 20%
· Occasional travel to corporate headquarters
