In this pivotal role, you will facilitate the design and manufacturing of our current & next line of exciting products. As a Tech lead, you will collaborate closely with the design & cross-functional teams to build industry-relevant products that meet required specifications for our global customers. The projects could be in the areas of Productivity, New product development, Quality and reliability, Agile, New technology platform and others.

Where is the work:
This position is an onsite role based out of Chennai.
What you will do:
- Apply expert knowledge to develop system, architecture and module design
- Apply expert knowledge to develop application software using Ruby/Go language
- Design and develop modular applications and libraries
- Engage actively in sprint teams and work independently
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared sprint goals
- Analyse, recreate and resolve defects effectively
- Identify and suggest improvements for products and its quality
- Lead software development and guide junior engineers
- Work on new product development, new technology initiatives, ideation activities & productivity improvements
What you will bring:
- Experience of 7-9 years in development, coding, unit testing, and debugging software.
- Must be strong in programming with Ruby/Go
- Experience with OOAD
- Experience with Agile Development Practices and Embedded Systems is desirable
- Familiarity with SQL and RDBMS is desirable
- Familiarity with Linux OS is desirable
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is desirable
- Familiarity with other programming languages like Python, Java, etc. is an added advantage
- Familiarity with Google Protocol Buffers is an added advantage
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review of design & code
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with remote teams located in multiple geographic locations
