Where is the work:
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite per week) based out of Bloomington, MN.
What you will do:
- Deliver classroom instructor-led and virtual training on Thermo King Products and Transport Refrigeration topics in Bloomington, MN and regional locations.
- Develop technical courses using instructional systems design methodologies.
- Assist in evaluation and update of all training courses.
- Assist in new product development activities.
- Minimum of 30% travel required in support of customer, corporate, and field office training events, more as needed or if remotely located.
What you will bring:
- At least 5 years work experience with Transport Refrigeration or technical service related field required.
- Degree in Vocational, Technical or Industrial Education or equivalent in technical education, instructional experience, and/or industry experience.
- Ability to communicate with and understand highly technical subject matter experts and translate material into training curriculum for less technical learners.
- Must be a team player who interacts effectively.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing demands and priorities.
- Must be self-sufficient and a self-starter who requires minimal direction with the ability to learn and comprehend new and complex systems and software packages.
- Working knowledge and experience with the following software: Microsoft Office 365 Suite (PPT, Excel, Word)
Additional Skills Preferred
- Knowledge/familiarity of Thermo King Products and Dealer network operations.
- Training/development experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of an organization from Individual Contributors to Executive Leadership.
- Ability to innovate and provide creative training solutions using both existing and newly acquired development tools and methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge of refrigeration, electrical and power.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $95,000 – 115,000
