Job Summary:
Responsible for interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.

Responsibilities: 
  • Handle customer parts/equipment inquiries via inbound calls, emails, etc. peak season minimum of 45 inbound calls. 
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Order entry - profit 21
  • Case entry/management-Salesforce
  • Quote entry
  • Inventory look up- what's in stock
  • teams' meetings every week
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years customer service-related experience required. Experience from a Home Depot, Lowes, auto parts could be useful in this role but not required.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook and data entry software. Resource needs to be able to navigate emails and have basic knowledge of how to use a computer.
Key Competencies:
  • Time management - clocking in on time, taking breaks when appropriate IE. lunch, making sure there is coverage for the team, asking for time off according to Trane's PTO policy, organizing email.
  • Basic computer skills - knowing how to work the net, being fluid between systems (resources work in 7-8 different systems a day)
  • Good work ethic 
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
  • Critical thinking, multitasking.
  • Has an interest in growth- these people tend to have a stronger work ethic. This team is looking for someone who wants to make Trane a career path.
