Work Arrangements: Hybrid based out of Davidson, NC / 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
Job Summary:
Trane Technologies is hiring a Transportation Coordinator in Davidson, NC within the Global Logistics Organization. In this role, you will support the shipping sites by coordinating transportation of raw material and finished goods. You will work to ensure that transportation decisions include rates, on-time pickup and delivery, and quality to create the best value for both Trane Technologies and our customers.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide transportation planning for assigned facilities
- Ensure all required daily freight is planned and covered with a transporter
- Adhere to truckload optimization and routing standards
- Coordinate directly with customers to schedule deliveries
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to transportation processes and cost reduction initiatives
- Participate and contribute to transportation related projects
- Assist with other transportation coordinators as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Engineering preferred or related field experience in lieu of a degree
- Transportation management systems experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of applications with emphasis on Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $55,000- $60,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
