Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

 

What you will do:   

 

The HRS, Time & Attendance Lead will work closely with their IT counterpart and our payroll timekeeping vendor to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our UKG timekeeping systems across various worksite locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in time and attendance systems, and payroll accuracy to support legal compliance and foster positive employee relations. 

  • Proven expertise in timekeeping systems and payroll processes.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and workflows related to time and attendance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Partner with the vendor and the IT Time and Attendance Lead to ensure the needs of our sites are clearly communicated, designed, validated, and implemented.
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for timekeeping system-related inquiries and escalated issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and locations to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Travel to company sites as required.

 

System Management:

  • Work with the payroll timekeeping vendor to ensure the system meets the specific needs and policies of different worksite locations.
  • Facilitate the review of change requests for system enhancements and guide the established support team in delivering these changes effectively.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulations.

 

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the timekeeping system.
  • Partner with the IT team on trend analysis for areas of improvement and efficiency delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap for the timekeeping system, aligning with business goals and ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Deliver a streamlined and positive user experience.

 

Training and Documentation:

  •  Develop and deliver applicable training and documentation to ensure end-users are proficient in using the system.
  • Partner with HR on any related knowledge documents and action plans.

 

Project Management:

  •  Manage project timelines, business commitments, and dependent resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Lead or support assigned time and attendance tasks aligned to key mergers and acquisitions.

 

Vendor Management:

  •  Manage relationships with vendors, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure the vendor meets our needs and expectations for reliable and predictable timekeeping systems.

What you will bring: 

  •  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7 + years of experience in managing time and attendance systems, and payroll accuracy for a multi-site, multi-country employer
  • Experience working in a multi-site, international organization is a plus.
  • Proven project management expertise
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management platform or similar timekeeping systems.
  • Knowledge of legal compliance requirements related to payroll and timekeeping.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs.

 

Compensation:

 

Base Pay Range: $ 92,000-120,000

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
