Job Summary:
The scope of this position is to carry out the activities like Protobuild, Test Set up while conducting the Performance & Reliability Testing of HVACR Products and Components.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain 5S & Safety as per EHS Guidelines at all work areas in Mechanical Laboratory.
- Building of Mechanical Prototype, Electrical Panel & Test set up as per Engineering drawings/Test Request.
- Instrumenting the unit with various sensors like Thermocouple sensor, Mass Flowmeter, Current Transformers etc, as mentioned in Test Request.
- Setting up the Unit Under Test at Psychrometric as per Test Request.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of Lab consumables & Tools, ensuring prompt reordering when necessary.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, by self or coordination with third party supplier of Lab Equipment & Tools
- Copper Tube Brazing, Nitrogen Pressure Testing, Vacuuming & Refrigerant charging of HVACR units.
Key Knowledge & Experience:
- Operation like Copper Tube Brazing, Nitrogen Pressure Testing, Vacuuming & Refrigerant charging of HVACR units.
- Testing & Operation of Psychrometric Lab is an added advantage.
- Electrical fault trouble shooting for controls & power.
- Conversant with Industry Safety guidelines for operation of Electrical Panel, Tool & Machinery like Grinding, Pedestal/Handheld Drilling, Jigsaw Cutter, Handheld Grinding/cutting.
- Trouble shooting of HVACR equipment such as Air conditioner, Condensing Units, Air handlers, Pumps etc.
- Email communication with stakeholders.
Minimum Qualification:
- BE/BTech Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 Years of Experience at Testing & Operation of Psychrometric Lab.
