Job Summary:

The Rest of AP Procurement Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement activities for the Asia Pacific region, excluding China. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with AP procurement team and cross-functional teams to develop supply strategy, drive procurement excellence and achieve cost savings targets. The Rest of AP Procurement Leader will also be responsible for supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

·       Develop and implement procurement strategies for the Rest of AP region, aligned with the overall company objectives and goals.

·       Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and supply chain, to identify and prioritize procurement needs and opportunities.

·       Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

·       Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.

·       Monitor and analyze procurement metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

·       Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

·       Stay updated on HVAC industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement operations in the Rest of AP region.

·       Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, savings achieved, and future plans

·        Good communication skills (written & verbal) and able to build strong, effective relationships with stakeholders, cross team, work colleagues.

 

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

·        Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

·        Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and supplier management.

·        Proven track record of achieving cost savings targets and driving procurement excellence.

·        Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

·        Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

·        Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

·        Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the Asia Pacific region.

·        Fluency in English. Knowledge of additional languages spoken in the region is a plus.
