Position Summary:
The welder technician may require the employee to work at any station during the workday dependent on staffing and production demands. All employees may be expected to rotate to different workstations, or they may be required to work in a specific workstation depending on experience, training and skill level to perform work tasks. May be required to obtain certification for operation of Mules, Tuggers, Powered Industrial Trucks, Stackers and/or Overhead Cranes and may be required to obtain and maintain braze certification.
· PRODUCTION ASSEMBLY, BRAZING AND TEST PROCESSES.
· OPERERATE IGM ROBOT AND PERFORM WELD REPAIRS
· THIS IS A WORKING POSITION. WILL BE EXPECTED TO LEARN COIL MACHINES SUCH AS ROBOT, MASS SPEC, ROLL AND GLUE
· MUST PASS WELD PROFICIENCY TEST, MATH, READING, AND PHYSICAL EXAMINATION.
· AN ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN WELD TECHNOLOGY OR ASME CERTIFICATE IS AN ADVANTAGE.
· MUST KNOW HOW TO READ BLUEPRINTS
